Palm Sunday – Daffodil Service for Those Affected by Cancer

This year, Palm Sunday falls on the fourth Sunday of March, and as we have done for the past number of years, at the united service on the fourth Sunday of March, we will be holding a Daffodil Service. At that Service, we are going to pray for those who are undergoing treatment for cancer, and for all who are involved in the healing and care of people with cancer; and for those undertaking research into the treatment and cure of cancer. We are going to give thanks for the recovery of those who have survived cancer, and remember those who have died from cancer.
Tea/coffee will be served after the service in the parish hall, in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, and there will also be a Bring and Buy Stall in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
At this service, we will also be starting our journey into Holy Week.
