This is the annual general meeting of the parish.  At this meeting, the parishioners get to elect a People’s Churchwarden, a People’s Glebewarden, the Select Vestry, and because this is a ‘triennial year’, there will also be elections of Diocesan Synodspeople to represent the parish at the Diocesan Synod, and of Parochial Nominators whose responsibility it is to search for a new rector, should there be a a vacancy. 

The Diocesan Synodspeople and the Parochial Nominators hold office for a three-year term.

The meeting will be held in the Canon Osborne Barr Room of St Philip and St James’ Parish Centre in the grounds of St Philip and St James’ Church.

Whilst everyone is very welcome to the meeting, only those who have signed up be on the Register of Vestrypersons may vote or hold office.
