Order of Service: Harvest United 2021 PDF

Today, we give thanks for the Harvest.   We are delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Alice Leahy from The Alice Leahy Trust.

There will be refreshments afterwards in St Philip and St James’ Parish Centre.

In addition to flowers, fruit and vegetables, we are asking for the following items which we will pass on to the Capuchin Day Centre in Bow Street and to the Alice Leahy Trust.

Non-perishable food items such as rice, pasta, cereal, tinned foods, soup, biscuits, jam, marmalade, chocolate, sugar, flour, tea, coffee, etc.

Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, female hygiene products, etc.

Pot Dinners such as pot noodles, pot curries, etc. and particularly chicken flavour; pots of porridge.

Those who are homeless can usually get hot water from a café or a restaurant and so these items would be great.

Hoodies The Alice Leahy Trust is also looking for clean hoodies in good condition.

Whilst we are back in church for services each Sunday, we will continue to live-stream the service from St Philip and St James’ Church at 10.30 on our YouTube page, and it will also be available later that day as a video on our YouTube page.
