There are two Christian Meditation groups in the parishes. Both groups take place in the Canon Osborne Barr Room of St Philip and St James’ Parish Centre.

Tuesday afternoon—3.30pm—4.10pm
Wednesday evening—8pm– 8.40pm

These Christian meditations are based on the teachings of John Main OSB and both groups always welcome beginners.

A group of parishioners pray each day for those whose names are on our Healer Prayer List.  The names may be of parishioners or may be of someone for whom prayer has been requested.  First names only are used on the Healer Prayer List.  Everyone on the list is also prayed for at the midweek Holy Communion Service in St Thomas’ Church on a Wednesday morning at 10.30.  

Approximately, every two months, the prayer-ers get together to pray and to update the list – everyone is very welcome to come.  We meet in the Committee Room of the Monk Gibbon Hall (St Thomas’ Parish Hall).

The Select Vestry of Mount Merrion Parish ( St Thomas’ Church) meets tonight in the Committee Room of the Monk Gibbon Hall (St Thomas’ Parish Hall).
