The Sausage(less!) Service
St Philip and St James’ Church, Booterstown Co. Dublin |
Many of our young people and children are involved in sporting and other activities on a Sunday morning. For many families, it is a struggle between going to church and those activities. Rather than hitting our heads off a brick wall and giving out about those sports clubs, etc., we have a service on the second Sunday of the month, from September to May. It is a short service, geared towards children and young people. We usually have sausages and potato wedges afterwards which is where it got its name! Unfortunately, with the coronavirus, we have not been able to have supper but we look forward to being able to do so again, and plans are afoot to do so in March 2022. Everyone is very welcome! |
