St Philip and St James’ Church, Booterstown Co. Dublin |
Direct link to live-stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hx4qe8cP0o Order of Service: Harvest United 2025 Service Sheet PDF Our two parishes join together for Harvest Thanksgiving each autumn. This year, it takes place in St Philip and St James’ Church, and will be followed by tea/coffee/juice in the Parish Centre. We are again collecting non-perishable food items, toiletries, female hygiene products, new underwear and socks for the Alice Leahy Trust and the Capuchin Day Centre. Please bring your items to the United Harvest Thanksgiving at 10.30 in St Philip and St James’ Church. We are asking people to bring non-perishable food items to the service which we will pass onto The Capuchin Day Centre which is based on Bow Street in Dublin City Centre. and to the Alice Leahy TRUST with whom we have an ongoing relationship, helping the homeless in Dublin. The monetary collection will be in aid of the Bishops’ Appeal (a fund administered by the bishops of the Church of Ireland to assist with relief and development projects throughout the world). We are also asking for toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bars of soap; toothpaste, toothbrushes, aerosol (spray) deodorants—not roll-on) female hygiene products; men’s thermal vests (small and medium sizes); track-suit bottoms (small, medium, large); warm jumpers; warm and water-proof jackets. THEY ALSO NEED …. chicken curry pots; chicken noodle pots; small/mini-bars (chocolate, etc.) for snacks; small packets of wipes; coffee.
