Date/Time Event Description
29/01/2023
8:30 am - 9:00 am
8.30 Holy Communion
St Thomas’ Church, Mount Merrion Co. Dublin

This is a short service of Holy Communion. There is no music at it but many like it because it is a smaller congregation and therefore more intimate.

We will continue to administer Holy Communion using the individual cups and little wooden blocks.
We ask that people would sanitise their hands on entering the churches.
The seating plans will no longer be in place but we ask that people would use all the space in both churches and respect that some people may need more space than others in order to feel comfortable.
Whilst mask wearing is no longer mandated, people may feel more comfortable wearing a mask and especially for singing, which we really appreciate being able to do again.

Service of Wholeness and Healing with the Laying-on-of-Hands
St Thomas’ Church, Mount Merrion Co. Dublin

Pre-COVID, on the fifth Sunday of the month (when it occurs), we would often have had a Service of Wholeness and Healing-with-the-Laying-of-Hands.  During COVID, we continued to have Services of Wholeness and Healing on a fifth Sunday but we did not have the Laying-on-of-Hands.  However, we are going to have the Laying-on-of-Hands at this Service.  The Rector, who will be doing the laying-on-of hands will sanitise her hands in between each person and will also wear a mask for this part of the Service.  All are welcome to receive the laying-on-of-hands but no one is obliged to – it is perfectly fine to remain in your seat.

At this service, we pray for those who are on our Healer Prayer List and for those who request our prayers. People may come forward for the laying-on-of-hands for themselves or for others. All are welcome to this Service.
